Are you arriving early in Denver this weekend? Why not join us for a fun-filled Friday afternoon?!  From noon until 4 pm, we will be at Washington Park (more commonly known as “Wash Park”) for lawn games, paddleboarding, picnicking, outdoor recreational rentals, and a lot of excitement. 

We will meet at Picnic Spot 2 (location will be sent closer to the date) for picnicking and yard games, and outdoor recreational rentals (pedal boat, kayak, stand-up paddleboards, bike rentals, etc.) will be at Wheel Fun Rentals at the Boathouse nearby.

This event is family-friendly, dog-friendly**, and community-focused!

 

**Due to the natural busyness of the park, please make sure that your dog(s) are friendly with people and other dogs. Any doubt, please leave your pet at home

What we will bring:

• 3 Paddleboards

• 5 folding chairs (which are in addition to the picnic tables at our reserved spot)

• 3 canopy tents for shade

• 2 outdoor blankets to sit on the grass

• Hand sanitizer 

• Giant trash bags 

• Extra dog poop bags 

• First aid supplies (bandaids, antiseptic, wraps)(HAVE MOST OF THIS) 

• Sunscreen + bug spray 

• 1 cooler for non-alcoholic drinks (not allowed to bring alcoholic drinks)

• Lunch! Burgers & hot dogs 

• Plates and napkins for lunch

What we need YOU to bring:

• Water & your water bottle! (Please make sure to stay hydrated)

• Sunscreen! (Being sunburned is no fun.) 

• Towels/ outdoor blankets

• Snacks to share! We will have labels for you to include dietary restrictions

• Speaker for music (if you have one you can bring!)

• If you have any yard games: Cornhole, volleyball, hula hoops, giant jenga, yard bowling, spikeball, giant bubbles, etc. (no water balloons) 

• Money for any rentals that you want to use
