π Field Trip Day - Meow Wolf
Meow Wolf is Denver's trippy "immersive art adventure" with a number of installations across the US. Come with us to visit Convergence Station, "where four alien worlds joined together in a rare cosmic event [that] created a place where memories are currency. Expect the unexpected at this kaleidoscopic immersive art experience as you traverse luminous corridors filled with interactive elements, shifting soundscapes, and story-rich installations that ignite every sense" (Meow Wolf website).
Tickets can be purchased at a group discount rate of $39 via the Balorado Contests store. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Wednesday, June 3. We are unable to sell tickets after this date, but you are welcome to purchase tickets directly from Meow Wolf.
Balorado will not be organizing a bus (itβs less expensive for yβall to Uber or Lyft there). While taking public transit is an option, there is not a convenient bus stop near Meow Wolf and it will require approximately 20 minutes of walking. We encourage folks to make use of the Facebook group for coordinating shared rides.
Please plan on arriving by noon, as our group tickets are timed entry. We will enter the exhibit together, and move through in organically created groups. We strongly encourage all attendees to wear dance event swag (buy Balorado swag on Redbubble!) or other swing dancer paraphernalia so we can find each other, and hang out with new friends in the exhibit (psst, Karaoke Night is a great way to meet people!).
